Ernest Thompson Seton was the founder of the Boy Scouts Of America (BSA) and responsible for the strong influence of American Indian culture within the organisation. He was also a prolific writer and wildlife artist, writing many books on the subject of scouting and the outdoors.
This is a first edition of his notable work, The Book Of Woodcraft And Indian Lore published in 1912 and containing over five hundred drawings by the author.
The book is in good condition for its age. There is some yellowing to the pages and I inscription to the first page. This is a great book for anyone collecting books on nature, books on scouting or books on American Indians
