A great vintage childrens book published by Puffin Books. It's warm evening remarked Harris as he and his friend Bostock exposed to the baby Adelaide on the Hill like a spartan child, so I don't suppose she'll come to much harm. But alas for his plans, it was not the expected She Wolf that came to succour the infant, but two members of the human species, who then incompetently lost her. The boys found a gypsy baby to occupy her empty cradle, but this was only the beginning of the complications and adventures involved. And immensely successful and comical story.
