This is a rare first edition of this much loved late 19th century childrens book. Written by Mary Louisa Molesworth (Mrs Molesworth) regarded by many to be the Jane Austen of the Nursery. This rare antique childrens book features illustrations from some of the most prominent victorian Illustrators such as Gordon Brown, E.J. Walker, Lizzie Lawson, J Bligh amd Maynard brown. This is a really nice, amd now quite rare first edition book.
